Extraordinarily, the engineers at Maranello were able to improve on the already stellar F12 Berlinetta when they created the company’s ultimate front-engined car to date, the F12tdf. The new car was lighter (by 110kg) and more powerful (by 40bhp) with improved aerodynamics. The name ‘tdf’ referenced its glorious forebears, and the connection did not end there: the car’s innovative rear-wheel steering system is known as passo corto virtuale, or virtual short wheelbase.
This car was delivered new to its current owner in Germany in February 2017. This esteemed Ferrari client ordered his limited edition tdf in the extracampionario Celeste paint, coming from the "Anni 50-60" colour range. Only three F12 tdf supercars have been finished in this exquisite exterior colour. The tasteful specification was completed with the charcoal Alcantara interior and a wide array of optional equipment and materials. Since new, the car has covered just 1,472km, every one of them a spine-tingling delight.
