"The outstanding performance of the Bentley Continental is still further enhanced by greater power from the engine, with larger carburettors, larger inlet valves and compression ratio of 8:1. The special lightweight body owes much to aircraft methods of constrauction and the front seats have been ‘anatomically’ designed to give better grip when cornering at speed. There is a Drophead Coupé version of the same car.”
