When my old school friend Mark Stewart, a successful documentary producer with motoring blood in his veins (his father is called Jackie), was asked to create a series of programmes for the respected US Smithsonian Networks channel, we put our heads together. This is one of the ideas we came up with, and I hope you enjoy it.
