1963 Ferrari 250 GT Short Wheelbase California Spyder

Coachwork by Pininfarina

The 52nd of only 55 Ferrari 250GT SWB California Spyders built, this late example was first delivered to the Marquis Medici del Vascello in Turin in March 1963, liveried in Grigio Fumo (smoke grey) with beige Connolly leather upholstery and open headlights. In the late 1960s it was exported to the USA where it remained in the hands of the same Californian owner from 1971-2003 before returning to Europe and entering private British ownership. Maintained in excellent mechanical order with largely original cosmetics save for an early 1970s repaint in dark red, the car retains all its original mechanical components and a rare hard top. It is illustrated in many Ferrari reference works (including those by Nowak and Carrick) and may either be used 'as is' or restored according to the requirements of the next owner.

In its original colour scheme and with open headlights which thankfully haven't been modified, it will stand out from its sisters!
