One owner from new

2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4

Of the strict 300 car production limit Bugatti has imposed upon the closed bodywork Veyron (excluding, therefore, the targa roof Grand Sport but including 47 Super Sports), this is one of the 253 Veyron 16.4s which are all now sold. For the record, the SS was priced at €1.65m plus tax (€1.95m for the ‘World Record’ edition) and the 16.4 at €1.2m plus tax. Chassis ‘242’ has been in the ownership of a private European enthusiast from new. It has remained in climate controlled storage and has been maintained by the official Bugatti agent, the total mileage to date amounting to 7,572km (4,705 miles). The striking paintwork, in chocolate metallic with orange metallic side scallops, is ‘as new’ and compliments the unmarked coffee leather upholstery featuring sport comfort seats. The owner opted to extend the factory warranty until 28th January 2013.

The car is Swiss registered and offers the opportunity to own a beautifully liveried, European specification Veyron for a substantial saving on the original list price for a landmark sportscar which is no longer available. In years to come imagine the conversations amongst motoring enthusiasts about “The price I could have bought a Veyron for in 2012”, followed by “If only I'd known...” This is a car for the forward-thinking collector.
